Restorative Yoga is a gentle, supportive practice that allows the body to completely rest while in the poses. The use of props helps support the body while in each pose. There is minimal movement and the relaxing and supported poses may be held for 5-12 minutes. This practice is beneficial for calming the nervous system. Individuals are guided with a focus on the breath, creating more calm and ease in the mind and body. Recommended for all yoga levels from beginner to the advanced practitoner.
